ResNet Signup Wizard

Before you proceed, please verify the following:

1. Your computer has an Ethernet adapter (network card). If you are not sure, please refer to Getting Connected.
2. You have an Ethernet patch cable connecting your computer's Ethernet adapter to the network jack on the wall. If you are not sure, please refer to Getting Connected.
3. You have your MIX username and WVUID (student number).

Open a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, and enter the Web address signup.resnet.wvu.edu. Assuming you have not already registered for ResNet, the ResNet Signup Wizard will appear if your network connection was successful.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process. After completing the ResNet Signup Wizard, you must restart your computer (or unplug your router for two minutes) to get an active connection to ResNet.

If your web browser does not display the ResNet Signup Wizard, restart your computer, and try again. If, after restarting, you still cannot access the ResNet Signup Wizard, please refer to the System Configuration Guide.
