For residents who enjoy online gaming, please note that some games may not work on ResNet. The TCP/IP port(s) used by the game may be blocked or restricted for security purposes. Given the countless games available, we simply cannot test each one to ensure that it works properly on ResNet. Consequently, WVU makes no guarantee that any particular game will work properly on ResNet.

If you use game consoles such as PlayStation, XBox, and Nintendo to play online games, you will need to purchase and configure a router to connect your game console to ResNet. For assistance connecting and configuring your router, refer to Routers.
